Sugar, sugar.

Yesterday was Valentine's Day. As the 9th Valentine's day Trevor and I have celebrated together, it was pretty great.  We exchanged cards with handwritten notes inside.  We had dinner a little diner in Weatherford and shared some coconut cream pie.  We soaked up our last Valentine's Day as a family of two. It was completed by me waddling back to the car.

The card Trevor picked for me complete with old people and prescription references.

Miles did very well for himself on Valentine's Day as well.  Several of my students filled him out cards and some even got him stuffed animals. Below is from a girl named Scarlet. He's a heartbreaker already!

After all the "sweetness" yesterday I woke up bright and early for my gestational diabetes test.  It tasted like flat, warm Sprite.  Not that bad. The horrible part was all the waiting.  Two hours of just sitting there hungry and bored. There wasn't even a TV in the place!  I find out my results on Monday, but so far I'm not thinking anything with sugar in it even looks good!

The best day ever.

2-7-13

maybe the best day ever.

It needs to be documented.

1.  It's my niece Kaia's 2nd birthday.  I love her and Uncle Trevor's special bond.
2.  My favorite school lunch.  Seems like a small deal-- pregnant ladies like to eat.
3.  I got to leave school early.  Only a teacher can appreciate leaving about 30 minutes early.  Seems like a big deal, but not enough time for my students to cause too much trouble.
4.  I went to the doctor for my 27 week appointment.
  • 39 inches around still
  • up 10 lbs
  • all stats good
  • got to hear Miles' strong heartbeat (160s)
5. Stopped by Dairy Queen for my monthly celebratory Reece's Peanut Butter Cup Blizzard
6. Watched a new Big Bang Theory that was hilarious
7. Got some great news from a friend
8. Found out Trevor got an A on his first Med Chem 2 exam
9. Slept well.

Week 26

Although I'm nearly to week 27 this last week has needs to be documented, so when I'm in my next pregnancy (God willing, someday) I will remember that week 26 is the week I go crazy.

I pride myself of being a relatively unconfusing, easily read girl.  Oh My Gosh.  This week my mood has been everywhere.  I am mad for no reason, annoyed most of the time, happy at weird times and a bit overwhelmed that I'm spending all this time being crazy when my precious moments alone with my husband are flying by.

If that paragraph doesn't express to you how I'm ALL over the place, go back and reread it.

In other news, my back hurts.

I still don't have stretch marks.  I still feel pretty energetic and sometimes forget I'm pregnant.  I'm measuring 39 inches around and I'll find out my official weight gain on Thursday.  I'm thinking 10-11 lbs up. I have been horrible at taking pictures of my belly because by the time I get home from school I end up in pj pants and sports bra.  Speaking of bras, my boobs won't quit growing and I hate it.

Under 100 days until we meet our son!
